Nordisk Legal Services is Nordisk’s legal case handling arm. It is a separate division within the association to which the actual handling of cases is entrusted, on the same basis as if it were an independent law firm, both in relation to the member or outside client in question and in relation to the outside world such as opposing parties, arbitrators etc.
The background is a wish to distinguish between the lawyers’ activities related to individual cases on the one hand and the FD&D element of the association on the other hand. In other words, Nordisk Legal Services are providing legal services to its clients, including Nordisk's members.
